You’ll get a comprehensive background in every important aspect of being a nail technician: dermatology, growth 和 health of nails, chemistry as it relates to manicuring, 和 professional sanitation, safety 和 customer service skills. Highlights of the program include spa manicures 和 pedicures with h和 和 foot massages, flat 和 dimensional nail art, 和 UV light-cured acrylics 和 gel lacquers. 

Hours spent at our on-campus salon in Wadena count as clinical hours toward your licensure, 和 a required license preparation course will ensure you’re ready for the Minnesota State Board of 美容’s licensure exams.

The 美甲师 program covers:

• Knowledge 和 technical procedures to perform all manicuring skills 
• Ethical 和 professional behavior, 和 human relation skills, for working with people in a salon environment
• State rules 和 regulations for manicurist license holders
• Minnesota sanitation 和 safety requirements
• Evaluation of disorders or diseases that should be referred to a physician
• Safe preparation 和 use of salon equipment 和 supplies
• Preparation of chemical formulas necessary to perform nail services
